ODR (“Online Dispute Resolution”) is a process that will allow the consumers who are resident in the European Union territory to present their own reclaims related to contracts stipulate on-line ( both for the purchase of goods and services) with companies based in the EU. According to the article 14 of the Regulation 524/2013/EU, such companies are compelled to inform their own consumers about the possibility to take advantage of this tool and to make available on your own website the link to the so-called “ODR platform” provide by the European Commission.

Online Dispute Resolution for the Consumers:
The consumer who is resident in Europe must be aware of the fact that the European Commission had established an online platform which provide a tool of an alternative resolution to the dispute. This tool can be used by the European consumer in order to solve in a non-judicial way every dispute related to and/or derived from sale contracts of goods and services stipulated on line. Consequently , if you are an European consumer you can use this platform for the resolution of every dispute nascent from the contract stipulated online with the Owner. The platform is available at the following link (http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/).
